The museum actively participates in externally led research projects in collaboration with universities, museums, and other scientific institutions.
The museum supports external research projects through targeted funding, access to collections, or specialist input. These projects are selected to align with the museum’s research priorities. See Project FSRP for an example funded project.
External research projects provide valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, enabling the sharing of methodologies, data, and expertise between institutions. Through joint initiatives, the museum helps strengthen research capacity across the wider scientific community.
